Telecommunications service provider is seeking energetic individuals with experience or have worked within the building trades.

  • Must supply own hand tools. Specialized tools will be provided.
  • DC power: 1 year
  • CAT 5/6 Installation: 2 years
  • Troubleshoot complex telecommunications products and systems using a digital multimeter, Smartphone, and PC
  • Install and service cabling infrastructure and devices for Data and Audio Visual; includes pre-wiring, installation, termination, testing, reporting, and labeling per specifications and drawings
  • Install network racks and cabinets in server rooms
  • Ensure safety and incident reporting procedures are followed
  • Complete detailed and accurate paperwork
  • Interact with clients, ensuring all inquiries are handled professionally
  • Perform additional tasks as required
  • Ability to work in a physically demanding atmosphere including, but not limited to: carry, raise and climb ladders, carry, lift and handle heavy equipment (manhole covers, cable reels)


Must be bondable

Must have valid Drivers License

Must be able to pass drug test for industrial sites

General Employment Conditions

This is a full-time position. May be required to work evenings and weekends and travel to remote sites. This position is subject to a 90 day probation period.

We are continuing to grow and require a Sales and Support Specialist for our retail operation in Williams Lake.

Technology Sales/Support Specialist

A Technology Sales/Support Specialist sells or leases a range of technical and non-technical goods and services directly to consumers, trades and other businesses. They may also sell Information Technology service contracts; manage service work orders, and other computer services, to retail, commercial and industrial customers.

Main Duties

Your primary responsibilities will include but not be limited to building relationships with prospective and existing clients, supported by a knowledge of PC configurations, servers and telephone systems and an understanding of related products (i.e. Microsoft). Your proven customer service orientation will be supported by strong organizational skills, accuracy and attention to detail.

  • Greet customers and discuss type, quality and quantity of merchandise or services
  • Answer phone and direct calls to appropriate staff or departments
  • Advise customers on use and care of merchandise, and provide advice concerning specialized products or services
  • Assess clients’ needs and resources and recommend the appropriate goods or services
  • Identify and solicit potential clients
  • Prepare merchandise for purchase, rental or lease
  • Consult with clients after sale to provide ongoing support
  • Assist in display of merchandise
  • Maintain sales records for inventory control
  • Provide advice to customers
  • Record accurate information for customer service orders and be able to relay the technical problems to a service technician
  • Advise customers on the status of their service orders
  • Dispatch and track the progress of service work orders for customers, advise customers of any delays in services ordered or equipment ordered
  • May troubleshoot technical problems related to hardware/software
  • Demonstrated sales ability and product knowledge

Educational Requirements:

  • Completion of secondary school is required.
  • IT Certification’s preferred

Must have a valid driver’s license and vehicle.

Must be able to pass drug test for industrial sites
General Employment Conditions

This is a full time position based on retail hours of operation. You may be required to work evenings and weekends. This position is subject to a 60 day probation period. Work is generally expected to be in our retail/office location however there may be some work required on customer’s sites. Under certain conditions, work on customer’s sites may require certain safety or special working conditions (safety equipment, special footwear etc.) In all cases, a customer’s specific site safety requirement will be followed.
